Does an automatic sprinkler system make a difference?
Imagine never again having to drag a hose around. Imagine having more free time. Imagine lush, green grass – vibrant flowerbeds. That’s the beauty of a sprinkler system from Pro Green. A time-controlled underground sprinkler system from Pro Green not only eliminates the chore of hand watering, but also saves water and gives your valuable landscape the uniform coverage it needs to stay healthy and vigorous. It protects your investment, increases your property value, and irrigates your lawn at the optimum time – in early morning – minimizing water loss due to wind and evaporation.
Does the entire property get watered at once?
No. Different areas of the property have different watering requirements and therefore the system is broken down into zones or sections which can be watered individually as required.
Does an irrigation system really save time?
Absolutely. Pro Green will professionally install an irrigation system that will automatically do all of the watering for you, even when you are away from home.
What is involved in installing an irrigation system?
When you decide to proceed, we’ll take care of all of the details, including calls to utilities before we dig. Our professional pipe pulling machines allow for the “trenchless” installation of sprinkler pipe, leaving your property looking as good as new in no time. And rest assured, when the job is done we’ll spend as much time as you need to be comfortable with your new system.
How long will my installation take?
It depends. Most of the systems installed by Pro Green systems are completed within one to two days. Installation times for larger properties vary depending on site-conditions such as property size, water pressure/volume, soil conditions and landscaping detail.
Are there different sprinkler systems to choose from?
At Pro Green Irrigation we only install contractor grade quality products from names such as Hunter and Rainbird. Since no one company manufactures the best of everything, we suggest quality components based on our experience using criteria such as serviceability, user friendliness, and site conditions. If you are familiar with a manufacturer or know someone else who prefers a certain brand, let us know and we can discuss the advantages and disadvantages.
What kind of servicing is involved with irrigation systems?
There are two main types of services required for lawn sprinkler systems:
A Spring Start-up involves the annual opening of the system. We check the main valves, turn on the main water, set the timer, change the battery backup, and adjust the sprinkler heads.
A Fall Blow-out — usually sometime between September and November — involves flushing out water with compressed air so the pipes don’t freeze.
Will I save money if I install my own system?
Not likely. In fact, it could cost you more money in the long run. A professionally installed irrigation system will be designed and installed using the most cost-effective and energy-efficient methods possible. You can be confident that Pro Green will use the best equipment for the job and effectively schedule any maintenance required to keep your landscape in top shape. Special attention to important factors such as sprinkler patterns (it is important to overlap the patterns so that the outer edges receive sufficient water for healthy growth). Our experience means that you won’t have to worry about costly pipe installation or wiring mistakes. We can do the job faster and more efficiently — with less disruption to your existing landscape — and we will guarantee our work.
Will an automatic sprinkler system use more water than I am currently using?
Not likely. In fact, an automatic sprinkler system will conserve water. You will never have to worry about runoff from overwatering or about wasting water if you forget to turn off the hose. Plus, with a rain sensor your system will know when it is raining and simply turn itself off when water is not needed.
How much will an automatic sprinkler system cost?
The price of your new irrigation system depends on many factors including the size of your property, water supply, landscape details, and existing site conditions. Pro Green has the experience to professionally design a cost-effective customized system that will best suit your specific needs. To request a quote please click here.
