Once you proceed, we coordinate utility locates, arrange a date and time for your installation, arrive onsite, and set up a sprinkler test line to check specifically how many heads can be installed per zone. We custom-design and flag out your irrigation system, determine the exact number of zones, and install it. We then program your controller and give you a demo — walking you through your sprinkler system and showing it in operation when completed.

Most homes complete in one to two days. Larger lots or complex landscaping may take longer.

We install contractor-grade systems built around Hunter, Rain Bird and other trusted components. Every system is custom-designed.

We recommend 3 types of visits for your irrigation system. A Spring Start-up opens and adjusts the system — sometimes the heads can heave or shift a bit with the frost, so we make any adjustments to the heads and nozzles, set the timer, and check that the system is pressurized. A Fall Blowout is done at the end of the season to winterize and blow the water out of the system so the pipes don't freeze. We also highly recommend adding optional Mid-Season Visits where we check over, test and review your system for optimal performance. Any repairs are by request as needed.

Unlikely. A well-designed Pro Green sprinkler system uses less water, requires fewer repairs, and finishes faster than a DIY attempt.

Costs vary with property size, water service, layout and the planting it irrigates. We provide a written estimate after the on-site walkthrough.

A typical subdivision lot with a 40 to 60 foot frontage and 100 to 150 foot depth is generally in the range of $3,900 to $4,900. The price moves with the landscaping, garden detail, water supply and layout of the property. Larger properties usually need a site visit before an accurate number can be given.

Most residential installations are completed in one day; larger properties with many zones take two. Because we pull the pipe beneath the turf rather than digging open trenches, an established lawn is walkable the same day and the lines close over within a couple of weeks.

Less than most people expect, and usually less than hand-watering. A zoned system applies a measured amount to each area early in the morning when evaporation is lowest. Adding a rain sensor or a Wi-Fi controller that reads local weather cuts consumption further by skipping cycles the lawn does not need.

Between late September and November, before the first hard freeze. Winterising means blowing the water out of the lines with compressed air. Water left sitting in a line will freeze, expand and crack the pipe or the fittings — in this climate it is not an optional service.

From April, once the risk of a hard frost has passed. A start-up covers charging the system, checking every head, adjusting spray patterns that have shifted with the frost, and programming the controller for the season.

Most residential properties need four to eight zones; larger properties with extensive gardens often need ten or more. Zone count is set by the water available at the property, not by preference — we measure flow and pressure first, then divide the property so every head runs at its designed pressure.

Rotors throw a single stream over a long distance and suit open lawn. Spray heads cover smaller, tighter areas in a fixed pattern. Drip line runs through garden beds and releases water slowly at the roots. A well-designed system uses all three, each on its own zone, because they apply water at completely different rates.

Yes. Any irrigation system connected to a municipal potable water supply requires a backflow prevention device so irrigation water cannot be drawn back into the drinking supply. It is included as part of every installation we do.

No. We install trenchlessly, pulling the pipe under the turf rather than opening it up. The lawn is walkable the same day and the lines are usually invisible within two weeks.

Yes, and it should. Beds and turf want very different amounts of water — beds a slow deep soak at the roots, turf a shorter heavier cycle. We run drip line through the beds on their own zones so neither is compromised.
